Administration: 
Optimally, the liquid preparation should be dropped directly onto the mucous membrane of the mouth including lips. Raise your cat's head until the mouth opens. If your pet finds this distressing, or you are unable to comply, you may add the medication to food, water, or milk. If your pet is sensitive to the odor of the alcohol preservative, allow a 10-20 minute period for dilution and evaporation before presenting the liquid or food to the pet. Occasionally, animals will shake their heads as a response to the alcohol preservative; cats may salivate excessively and in these cases, presenting it in food, water or milk works.

Dosage:

To start, dose every 30 minutes to an hour for 4-8 doses.

Once improvement begins, change the dose to 3 times daily until symptoms clear.

When the condition has cleared, stop dosing. You can always restart dosing if symptoms recur.
